It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Gordon Ku.

As the visionary behind AWAK Technologies when it was founded in Singapore, Dr. Ku had a profound impact on our organization wherein his unparalleled passion and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of dialysis patients has inspired all of us. Led by his resolute spirit, he also founded Kidney Dialysis Foundation, Singapore (KDF) , which has provided subsidized dialysis treatments and holistic care for 980 low-income patients since its establishment.

During this difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate this challenging time.

We will always be grateful for Dr. Ku’s contributions not only to AWAK but also to Singapore and the impact he has had on so many lives. His enthusiasm, devotion, and entrepreneurial spirit will be greatly missed, and his legacy will continue to inspire us to strive for excellence in disrupting kidney care.

He will always be remembered as a visionary, a leader and a mentor.
